I bought a tiny house on wheels and was going to take out the composting toilet that came with it (EcoLet 65e) but I thought I would leave it in to try it and I’m glad I did. It’s great! Our tiny house is completely off grid in an isolated area (country station) with 1kW of solar. We use the tiny as a weekend getaway every 2nd or 3rd weekend with around 2-4 people. It lasted almost a year (10 months) without needing emptying – I was very impressed! Easy to use, just like a normal toilet. Except instead of flushing, you just add a scoop of dry mix. The compost it produces is beautiful

We installed an EcoLet waterless composting toilet and are extremely pleased with our decision. As well as being waterless, the system (contrary to my preconceived fears) is also completely odourless, easy to operate, clean and hygienic, and positively commented on and reviewed by our guests.

We integrated the unit into a quirky setting, camouflaged the vent pipe and made a real feature of it. We are thrilled with the result!

1970s

EcoLet™ has been at the forefront of the composting toilet industry since its inception in the 1970s. Founded by passionate environmentalist Sture Andersson, EcoLet™ recognized the need for a more sustainable approach to waste management.
